The challenge

  • Automate the process of dealers ordering their products from Unit4.

The result

  • A dealerportal that gives dealers the ability to order, sign and follow the status of their order via the portal.

My responsibilities

Project Manager

  • Set up a kick-off meeting, log requirements, prioritise stories and stakeholder management.
  • Verify the quality and feasibility of product designs and development processes delivered by Incentro. Monitor and control costs, risks and progress.

Scrum master

  • Facilitator of the Scrum team
  • Resolve impediments within Scrum team
  • Coach of the Scrum team
  • Monitor the Scrum process

The things I’ve learned

  • Make sure user requirements are clear for everyone
  • Have a design ready before the start of development
  • Be transparent to your stakeholders
  • Be clear about the consequences when work is not delivered. Ensure equality at all ages.
  • Have regular conversations with your team members to check in on their motivation.
  • Test the product with the end user
